When you set up a call or in-person meeting, we will design your session based on your vision and who you are.

PLAN YOUR SESSION

When you schedule your session, we will start the planning process. We will get to know you. We want to know what your interests are, your style and what vibe you want for your session. You will receive a complimentary wardrobe consultation to help plan your outfits based on the locations we select. Your session is about you!

SESSION DAY

Your session will begin at the location of your choice. Many seniors choose to have their session in downtown Stillwater, but you can select from any Twin Cities location. During your session, our goal is to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera.

REVEAL PARTY

A few weeks after your session, you will have an image reveal party at your home or via Zoom. You will select your favorite images and we will order your prints, wall art, album and any other professional products you would like. You will receive a personalized mobile app and social media reel of all the individually purchased images! You also receive the social media digital files for the separately purchased photos too!

Why Should I Choose Angela Doherty Photography For My Senior Session?: You. Yes, You! Your session is about what makes you who you are. I focus on you and talk through what you want your session to be about.

Seniors get VIP treatment. Ever wonder what it feels like to be a celebrity getting your photos taken? Let's make that dream come to life! Every senior gets to have magazine- style portraits. I am very familiar with commercial style work and have shot for a few local magazines in the Twin Cities.

Every senior has the option to purchase an heirloom quality album. These are gorgeous, hand-crafted albums with thick, gorgeous pages that are guaranteed for life.

I believe in the power of printed photos. Viewing your images should be an experience, not just a quick swipe! Any images you purchase come in printed form. You also receive the website digital file of that image. Many seniors use the digitals to share on social media or use them for senior banners.

You are also invited to add on your own personal YouTube video of ALL your images when you purchase our upgraded album! This is a great bonus that is purchased separately for you to share in all your socials.
When Should I Book My Session?: As soon as possible! The best time to schedule your session is in the Summer/ Fall going into your senior year. You will want to book this in the spring so you are guaranteed a slot.

Please make sure you know your school’s yearbook deadline too!
How Much Are Senior Photos?: Senior sessions start at $375. Images are purchased separately on an a la carte basis. Want more pricing info? Please fill out this form.

Most seniors spend $1,500+ for their heirloom quality albums or printed art.

How Will I Know What To Wear?: You receive a complimentary style session via video chat. We go through your closet virtually and pick out your fave outfits. We can even chat while you are out shopping to ensure that the new items you get go well with your vibe.
What About My Hair and Makeup?: You are in luck! You can have your hair and makeup professionally done if you wish. I can provide some great referrals to makeup artists and hairstylists.

If you opt out of getting your makeup and hair done professionally, I suggest Youtube tutorials. There are so many DIY, fast and easy makeup tips, you could be a pro in no time.
What If I Am Awkward In Front of The Camera?: Here is some insider knowledge. Very few people feel natural in front of the camera the first few shots. I am here to help you feel comfortable. Being a professional portrait photographer in the Twin Cities for 13 years, I am super knowledgeable in posing and helping bring out natural smiles.

I always get a list of your fave artists and have your songs playing during your session. I am also pretty good at a fake and embarrassing laugh that is sure to bring out your natural one.

I guarantee, no one is more awkward than me, so you have nothing to worry about!
When Do I Get My Photos?: We will get together and have a reveal party either at your home or via Zoom. You will invite your family to come along and take a look at your images. Typically, your reveal party takes place anywhere from 2-6 weeks from your session.
