Proceeding towards the details of this epic elopement in Duluth; the wedding day started super rainy and so I did a quick order pickup at Target to get clear umbrellas for a dry first look. The drizzling raindrops beautified Lake Superior by adding more vibrancy and freshness. Lake Superior waves were crashing during the rain but added to the ambiance of the moment. The scene looked nothing less than an absolute dream!

Wedding photography is more about capturing the essence of the moment and the beautiful sentiments associated with it. The groom couldn't keep his eyes off the bride for the First Look when he saw her looking awe-inspiring before the big moment. It was such a heartwarming sight!

Caitlin and Connor are a covid-couple who had been planning to get married in the exact location since 2020! Seeing their dream intimate Lake Superior wedding turn into reality warmed my heart. The families of the bride and groom traveled all over the U.S to join in the wedding festivities. All the stationery invites were sourced from Shutterfly and resonated perfectly with their theme.

Larsmont Cottages, being the iconic destination wedding spots that they are, offered remarkable places for their elopement in Duluth and photography portrayal. Despite the rain, the outdoor photos turned out beatifully! The ambiance, charm, and colors-everything look phenomenal! I captured getting-ready and detail photographs inside the cottages and then went outside for the First Look.

The couple chose live music for their outdoor wedding ceremony. It was cloudy most of the day, but when the couple sang "Shine Jesus Shine" during the ceremony, at that exact moment, the sun came out. Can you imagine? I don't think there was a dry eye at the ceremony.

Caitlin looked stunning in her Ivory bridal dress for her intimate Duluth elopement. Connor opted for a modern slim-cut black tux from Men's Wearhouse and looked strikingly handsome. They wrote heartfelt personalized vows for each other and exchanged wedding rings to begin the journey of their new life and promise each other forever. It was truly the most special moment of the whole wedding! Their wedding party consisted of friends from various parts of their lives.

This intimate Minnesota wedding had a beautiful reception with a sparkler sendoff at the end. The scene looked mesmerizing!

Caitlin and Connor’s small wedding in Duluth brought both the families together to join in the wedding festivities and have the time of their lives.
